Priesst – Solo Mp3 Download
Nigerian Afrobeat talent Priesst – Solo delivers a heartfelt, faith-anchored record that strips things back to vulnerability, reliance, and grace.
Odugbose Caleb, known as Priesst, began his music journey in 2015 as an instrumentalist before emerging as a rapper and songwriter. He’s since built momentum with tracks like “Shayo,” “Akonuche” — which peaked at #16 on Nigeria’s Spotify Top 200 in January 2026 — and records across his KURIMA and KURIMA TOO (EP) projects.
“Solo” leans into prayer and introspection. The theme centers on walking alone, carrying personal burdens, and finding strength only through the Holy Spirit. Lines like “How many times I waka in the shadow of death” echo Psalm 23, framing his journey as one under divine shelter. Priesst admits he can’t share his loads with anyone else, pleading for guidance and resolving never to fall further.
The production is minimal and soulful, giving his vocals space to carry the weight. There’s no bragging here — just honest confession. He balances requests for material plenty with self-checks on ego: “Make a shadura like say I no get talent, when I dey pray for grace.” It’s a reminder that behind the rhythm is a story of struggle, faith, and the search for consistency.
With “Solo,” Priesst gives listeners more than a vibe. It’s a prayer set to melody — raw, reflective, and rooted in gratitude.
